A word from our pastor

Welcome to Victory Temple Deliverance Center!

Whether you found us online, drove past us on Marlton Pike, or someone invited you, I’m so glad you’re here.

God planted this church in 2014 on a simple truth: Prayer + Praise = Victory. We still live by it. We pray together three times every weekday on our prayer line. We worship together every Sunday at 11:30, and on third Sundays we come back at 3:00 for Praise & Fellowship.

You don’t have to have it all together to come through our doors. Come as you are. You’ll find a church family that will pray with you, praise with you, and believe God with you for your victory.

After more than 45 years in ministry, I can tell you this: God is still calling, and I still say YES. I would love to meet you this Sunday.

Same God. Same Word. New mercy.See you Sunday!

Come back for more

Once a month the doors open again in the afternoon for a fellowship service, often with a guest preacher. This summer that meant Apostle Neimon Barbour of the Kingdom Minded Alliance of Churches and Bishop E.M. Barron of Higher Ground COGIC.

Why “Victory”

PrayerPraiseVictory

The VTDC crest: a crowned shield with a lyre, a dove and two worshipers, the banner Prayer-Praise-Victory, Exodus 17:15, held by two gold lions, established 2014

Look closely at our crest. Under the banner that reads Prayer · Praise · Victory is a verse: Exodus 17:15.

At Rephidim, Israel fought Amalek in the valley while Moses stood on the hill with the rod of God in his hand. When his hands were lifted, Israel prevailed. When they grew heavy, Aaron and Hur held them up until the sun went down, and Joshua won the day.

Then Moses built an altar and named it Jehovah-nissi: the LORD is my banner. The battle was won on the hill before it was won in the valley. That is why we pray, why we praise, and why we hold each other’s hands up when they get heavy.

“And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed.”
Exodus 17:11
“And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi.”
Exodus 17:15
